After School Ballet on the Saône.

This is not a staged photograph. The picture was taken in December 2023. I was on my way to catch the bus and bumped into this lonely little girl who just started dancing on the quays, completely submerged by the river. She was on her own and just felt inspired, I guess. Though quite young, she certainly had the pose and moves of an experienced dancer. The stars aligned, all these elements combined made for quite an extraordinary moment, truly out of this world!
She stayed there for about 20 minutes and then left, her jeans utterly drenched. Do keep a camera with you at all times.
